The Raleigh real estate market has been steadily picking up as home sales have increased for five consecutive months and housing inventory (number of homes on the market) has finally plateaued.  The stimulus for the $8000 tax credit has really been driving sales in the $200,000 and under price range as first time home buyers are rushing out to take advantage. Who can blame them?? Now the market needs the buyers interested in more expensive homes to follow suit!

A great place to start would be at 3513 Knightshire Drive in Raleigh, NC. I just listed this home a couple days ago and it is one of the nicest pieces of property I’ve seen at this price range. The home is somewhat smaller than some comparables in this price range in the Raleigh real estate market but the home sits on 1.22 acres of professionally manicured landscape.
